”Her heart was heavy because it was open, and so things filled it, and so things rushed out of it, but still the heart kept beating, tough and frighteningly powerful and meaning to shrug off the rest of her and continue on its own.”

I finished this novel today in my buddy read with @iamthelibrarydragon !

I breezed through this book rather quickly. While I want to save some of my commentary for our discussion, I will attest to the beautiful and poetic writing of this author. This compilation of mini stories within the story centers around relationships. I was drawn into each plot, yet there was an unreliable narrative that lost me at times. The truly unique versatility of the writing makes me curious to read another novel by the author. Although I did not love this book, I foundly enjoyed the journey.

My next novel on deck from the author will be…
